Arthur Devlin, who will be remembered by many of our readers as the popular pastor of the Catholic church of this city, several years ago, died at Dunbar, Fayette county, Pa., on Saturday morning of last week, after an illness of six months. At the time of his death he was the pastor of the Catholic congregation at Dunbar, where he was highly esteemed by his parishioners as well as those outside the church. The deceased came to this country from Ireland in 1874, and was the first priest ordained by Bishop Tuigg. We have been unable to ascertain his age, but he was comparatively a young man.
