The Huntingdon Globe, Thursday, November 14, 1918 CLAY TOWNSHIP Corn is about all in the crib, except where the "Flu" is in the family. Several of our families have been left, sad and lonely by the loss of loved ones. In the death of Edward H. Drake, which occurred the 8th inst, Clay Township lost one of its best citizens. His place will be hard to fill. Ed, as he was best known, was a good husband, kind father, and excellent neighbor, and best of all a Christian. He was a member of the M. E. Church at Saltillo. He was a son of A. M. and Susan Drake both deceased. He was aged 46 years, and is survived by his wife and one son: Foster in the U. S. Service and three daughters: Buelah, a teacher; Olive and Marjory at home. Also two brothers S. M. Drake, farmer near Saltillo and R. Bruce Drake, of Robertsdale, and two sisters: Mrs. W. H.
