General Billy Dunn, a well-known character of this place, died at the almshouse one day this week. It will be remembered by the reader that Huntingdon was inflicted [sic] with small pox during the winter of 1877, and Billy was so unfortunate as to "catch it," and his shanty and all its contents on cemetery hill were destroyed, with all its summer's gather of bones - he making a livelihood by selling bones. Like poor old Jimmy Walls, he was an outcast upon society, but then he did not have any real estate to be gobbled up by the lawyers. NEIGHBORHOOD NOTES. William Dunn, a well-known resident of Huntingdon, died in the almshouse on Monday night. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Saturday, December 6, 1879
