EICHELBERGER Funeral services were held last Thursday for Pauline Catherine Eichelberger, 82, of Railroad St., Point Marion, a former Saxton resident who died on Saturday, March 25, 1978, in the Southwest General Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born Nov. 17, 1895, in Sandy Run, the daughter of Adolph and Elizabeth (Christ) Brenna. She married Charles A. Eichelberger, who preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 1963. Surviving are six sons, Michael and Leo of Cleveland, Ohio, Cloyd, Joseph and Clifford of Point Marion, and Charles J. of Largo, Fla., and three daughters, Mrs. Lester (Louella) Miller of Huntingdon, Mrs. Joseph (Loretta) Petak of Northfield, Ohio, and Mrs. Edward (Martha) Swiger of Baltimore, Md. 52 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren also survive, as well as two brothers, Adolph Brenna of Robertsdale and Albert Brenna of Michigan, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Brinksy of Mingo Junction, Ohio, and Mrs. Lourene McClain of Robertsdale. Three sons and three daughters preceded her in death. She was a member of the Point Marion United Methodist Church and a Gold Star Mother from World War II. A member of the VFW and American Legion auxiliaries in Point Marion, she was employed by the L. J. Houze Glass Company in Point Marion for a number of years.
