She was born April 18, 1929 in State College, the daughter of Roy Herbert Ghaner and Emma (Davison) Ghaner. On August 10, 1948 she married Leon Clark (Bud) Ellenberger. She is survived by her husband; one son, Roy and his wife Linda of Warriors Mark; one daughter, Nancy Wirtner and companion Timothy Thal of Warriors Mark; grandchildren, Jennifer Lewis and husband Dustin, Jacob Ellenberger, Travis Wirtner and companion Jenny Conway, and Tyler Wirtner, all of Warriors Mark; one great-grandchild, Garrat Lewis and one brother, Harold Ghaner and wife Nadine of Ceres, CA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Martinez. Mrs. Ellenberger was a graduate of State College High School, a member of the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church and an active member of the Warriors Mark-Franklin Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She was a cook at Warriors Mark Elem. School for many years and was a rural mail carrier for the Warriors Mark area for 26 years. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark with Pastor Peggy Bonsell officiating. Place of burial will be Burket Cemetery, Warriors Mark. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, November 1 and on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
