Mrs. Eliza Eyer, wife of John Eyer, died at her home in Warriorsmark valley, four miles east of Tyrone, at 10:15 last night, of cancer. Deceased was aged 57 years, and is survived by her husband and twelve children, three brothers and two sisters. She was for many years a devout and consistent member of the Dunkard church. The children are, Lewis and Howard B., of Tyrone; Harry and Edward, Washington state; Mrs. Leah Fye, Illinois; Mrs. Clara Garland, Vail; Harriet, Gertrude, Wilbur Ellis, Belle and John Blaine, at home. The brothers and sisters are, Henry W. Myers, of Warriorsmark valley; Benjamin F. Myers, of Eldorado, John G. Myers and Mrs. Caroline Mauer, of Altoona; and Miss Rebecca Myers, of Pittsburg. Her father was the late Rev. Gabriel Myers, a Dunkard preacher who was well known in this vicinity. The funeral services will take place Wednesday morning, the meeting at the house being at 10 o'clock, after which the services will be conducted by Rev. J. B. Brumbaugh, at the Cross Roads church. Interment in Dunkard cemetery. The morning and evening trains on the L. & T. R. R. will stop opposite the house tomorrow to leave off and take on friends attending the funeral.
