William P. Faust of Allenport died at 7:30 o’clock Saturday night, June 4, 19
1949, at his home. He had been ill for six months.

He was born on September 8, 1889, in Atkinsons Mills, the son of Robert Bruce an
and Sadie Ellen (Shields) Faust. He married Bessie Bard of Mount Union in 1912.

His wife and these children survive: Mrs. James McCreight of Harrisburg; Mrs. 
Harold Adams, Newton Hamilton; Mrs. Max Kurtz, Benevides, Texas; Peggy and 
Richard at home. There are three grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: 
Russell and Rolland of Columbus, Ohio; James, Mason, Ohio; Ray, McVeytown; Mrs. 
Reuben Ellis, Mill Creek; Mrs. Melvin Chilcote, Rochester, New York; Mrs. 
Bessie Kirby, McVeytown, and Mrs. Francis Adams, New York City, New York.

He was a member of the Allenport Methodist Church and the Mount Union F. and A.M.
A.M., No. 688.

The deceased was a crane operator for the Pennsylvania Railroad and worked at th
the creosote plant in Mount Union.

A Masonic service will be held at eight o’clock this Monday evening in Clark’s 
funeral home. The funeral service will be at 10:30 o’clock Tuesday morning at C
Clarks. The Rev. Wayne Crawford will officiate. Interment will be made in the G
Germany Valley Cemetery.
