The boy was sent out to bring in the cows, and after his return, and when last seen, he was sitting on the railroad, which passes close to the residence of his father. It is supposed that he fell asleep upon the track, and that a coal train, passing down a little after dark, ran over him. He was not missed until Tuesday morning, when upon search being made his mangled remains were found scattered about the road near the place where he sat when last seen.
