Fisher Sheldon Ray "Bink" Fisher, 71, of 109 Long Avenue, Centre Hall, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 7, in Huntingdon, following a battle with Leukemia. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 10, with Rev. Fred E. Hickok officiating. Interment was made at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Mapleton Depot. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Robert E. Peters Funeral Home in Huntingdon. He was born June 9, 1935 in Mapleton Depot. He was the son of the late Norman J. and Clara M. (Ramsey) Fisher. Mr. Fisher is survived by his fianc‚e, Kathleen Amman of Huntingdon. The following children survive: Bradley Ray Fisher and his wife Shannon of Allentown and Dayna D. Kann and her husband Eric of Pennsylvania Furnace. Also three grandchildren survive: Gracelyn Fisher, Abigail Kann and Rachel Kann. The follow brother and sisters survive: Kathleen Long of Mount Union, Lloyd R. Fisher of Fairfield, CA and Trella Ostrander of Mapleton Depot. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Donald J. Fisher and Robert E. Fisher Sr. Mr. Fisher was a graduate of Captain Jack High School Class of 1953. He served in the US Army from 1955 to 1959 and attained the rank of Sergeant. He was employed by the Prudential Insurance Company as a Sales Representative from June 1963 until retiring in June 1997. Mr. Fisher was a member of the United Methodist Church in Huntingdon. He was a lifetime member of the State College Elks Country Club; a member of Mapleton Hunting Camp; a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 223 in Huntingdon and a member of the Mount Union Alumni Association. Mr. Fisher enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. The Valley Log, Orbisonia, Pa., October 11, 2006
