FLOOD Mr. Austin Warren Flood of Silver Springs, Maryland, died in St. Petersburg, Florida, Monday morning, December 29, 1952, where he had just arrived to make his home after being in ill health for the past 16 years, aged 63 years, 10 months and 26 days. The deceased was a son of the late Henry and Matilda Briggs Flood and was born at Nossville, Huntingdon County, Pa., Feb. 3, 1889. He was a member of the Salem E.U.B. church of Nossville, Pa., and is survived by his wife, the former Viola Laird, one son, Paul Flood of Baltimore, Md., and one daughter Mrs. Herbert Dowling of St. Petersburg, Florida. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Nannie Cisney, Mrs. Rosie Parson, and T. Chalmer Flood, all of Blairs Mills, Pa.; Chester A. Flood of Spruce Hill, Pa., and Loy G. Flood of Fannettsburg, Pa., and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the John L. Agett Funeral Home at Dry Run., Pa., Friday, January 2, 1953 at 10:00 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Anson Slick of Shade Gap., Pa., after which interment was made in the Salem Cemetery at Nossville. Additional Comments: Wife Mary Viola, "Aunt Vi", was a daughter of George & Sarah (Schilling) Laird.
