He was born June 17, 1834 and was aged 86 years, 8 months and 5 days. He was the son of Daniel Flood. Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon, February 27, 1920 at the church in Salem, in charge of Rev. Max J. Lantz. Interment in the cemetery at Salem Church. Undertaker, W. P. Dunmire. Mount Union Times, February 1920 Additional Comments: David was a son of Daniel & Susannah (Henry) Flott. He was born near Green Village, Franklin County on 17 July 1834. He was the husband of Jane S. "Jennie" (Castor) Flot. Jennie, a daughter of Andrew & Elizabeth (Miller) Castor, died suddenly December 1, 1893. Her death may have been due to a heart attack. Children of David & Jennie: Dora Elizabeth (Mrs. William Neely Appleby), May Susan (Mrs. Jesse F. Gray), Maude Viola (died about age 9), George Edgar (wife Lila Edith Campbell), Thomas Phillip (wife Cora Leah Gray), Bessie (Mrs. Thomas Campbell Hampton), Minerva Belle (Mrs. Oscar Roddey), and Ross Flood (wife Myrtle M.
