BURDETTE FLOOD DIES Mr. Burdette Flood, son of Henry and Matilda Briggs Flood, died at his home near Nossville on Sunday, April 30, 1933, after several weeks' illness of pneumonia, aged 41. He was a farmer and never married. His sister lived with him on the home farm which they have farmed for a number of years. He is survived by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Salem church and burial was made in the adjoining cemetery. clipping dated April 1933 Additional Comments: "Burdette" was the youngest of 11 siblings and the second of the 11 to die. His siblings were: Nannie Mae Cisney, Jackson Daniel, Flora Louise Gray, Rosie Virginia Parsons, Charles Theodore, Iva Lura, Talmadge Chalmers, Chester Arthur, Loy Grafton, and Austin Warren.
