Blairs Mills, died unexpectedly Saturday evening, Feb. 21, 1976, in St. Petersburg. A native of Mount Union, she was born June 20, 1891 to George and Sarah (Schilling) Laird. She was married to Oscar Warren Flood, who preceded in death in 1963. Surviving are two children, Paul, White Marsh, Md. and Mrs. Herbert (Ruth) Dowling, Treasure Island, Fla. There are five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Flood left four brothers, Raymond, York; Wilbert, Columbia and Ralph and Homer of Lewisburg. She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, R.D. Blairs Mills. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, from the Ott funeral home in Orbisonia. The Rev. Clarence Chubb of the Mapleton United Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in the Salem Cemetery, R.D., Blairs Mills.
