FLOOD Talmadge Chalmer Flood of Blairs Mills, R.D. 1, a former Mount Union funeral director, died Saturday afternoon, November 18, 1961, at the Hollidaysburg State Hospital. Death was due to a heart attack. He had been a patient at the hospital for one week. He had been ill for about three years. He was born September 25, 1881, at Blairs Mills, R.D., a son of the late Henry and Matilda E. (Briggs) Flood. He was married to Fannie Welsh who preceded him in death in 1948. Surviving is one brother, Loy G. Flood of Fannettsburg. A number of nephews and nieces also survive. Mr. Flood attended the Salem EUB church for 30 years. He was engaged in farming and for a number of years had been in the lumbering business. Mr. Flood had been a funeral director in Mount Union for about 20 years. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Salem EUB Church in Blairs Mills, R.D. The Rev. Robert Shaffer will officiate. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. There will be a viewing at the church for one hour prior to the services. Friends may call at the John L.
