The Centre Times (State College), Saturday, 11 Oct 1975 Contributor's Notes: My grandfather, Cloyd F. Foster Senior, died peacefully. He was sitting in his easy chair and he had a photo of my younger brother Bruce (who was in his high school football uniform) on his lap. My grandmother told me that he looked like he had just dosed off to sleep. I attended his funeral. When I was a child, my grandfather told me that he had worked as a typesetter, but he had to change jobs because his eyesight was getting worse and he couldn't do that anymore. In WWI he served in France because I saw some of the French postcards that he sent to his sweetheart Mabel Mae Hall. I would describe his personality as very easy-going and congenial.
