Clair Frank, Warriors Mark, died Friday at 10:51 p.m. at the Tyrone Hospital where he had been a patient since Dec. 29. Prior to that, he had been a guest at Epworth Manor, Tyrone, since August. He was born Jan. 25, 1906 in Graysville, Huntingdon County, a son of T. Lloyd and Clara (Henry) Frank. He was married June 24, 1937, in Warriors Mark to the former Minerva Houck, who survives. Also surviving are a sister and five brothers: Mrs. Charlotte Marks, Harrisburg; Woodrow W., Millersville; Samuel B., Williamsburg; Kenneth H., Pitman, N.J.; Thomas L., Camp Hill; and Don C., Huntingdon. Several nieces and nephews survive. He was a member of the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church, where he served in various administrative offices. He was a member of the Tyrone, F&AM Lodge 494, Jaffa Shrine Temple, Altoona, and the Warriors Mark/Franklin Volunteer Fire Co. He retired in 1970 as owner of the Frank Insurance Agencies of Williamsburg and Warriors Mark, which he operated for 17 years. Prior to this, he had been employed as a salesman at Harpster Chevrolet, Warriors Mark. Funeral will beheld Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church. The Reverend Glenn A. Varner will officiate. Interment will follow in Burket Cemetery, Warriors Mark. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home, Warriors Mark, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Epworth Manor, Tyrone.
