  Israel Graffius, the oldest citizen of Alexandria, died on the 6th 
inst., in his 89th birthday.  Mr. Graffius was born on the Graffius 
farm, about two miles from Alexandria, and had lived in that vicinity 
all his life, respected by all who knew him.  He was buried on Saturday 
with Masonic ceremonies.
