Grazier After spending part of Tuesday afternoon in Tyrone on business, George G. Grazier, the well known dairyman and agriculturist, passed away at his beautiful country home in Warrior's Mark valley in the evening of the same day at seven o'clock of apoplexy. Mr. Grazier had not been in good health all winter. In fact he was confined to his home with illness and had only been out and around a short time. While sitting in a chair talking to the members of his family on Tuesday evening, he was suddenly attacked with the fatal disease and passed away before a physician could be summoned. George Guyer Grazier was a son of the late David and Nancy Grazier. He was born on the old homestead in Warrior's Mark valley, April 27, 1855, and resided there all his life. Twenty seven years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Nancy Luts, who with the following children survive a loving husband and father's death: Alton David, Mrs. Forrest Eyer, Marine [Merle L.], in Warrior's Mark valley, and Robert Grazier, in Harrisburg. He is also survived by these brothers and sisters, Darius, of Topeka, Kansas; Mrs. Mattie Hyskell, and Mrs. George Walker, of Scottdale; Miss Jennie G. Grazier, of State College; Frank, of Bedford, Virginia, Mrs. G. H. Hubbard, of Lock Haven; Harry L. Grazier, of Warriors Mark valley. Clark Grazier, one brother, deceased. George G. Grazier had been a member of the Bethlehem Untied Brethren church in Warrior's Mark valley for years and during the recent Neiolson-Hemminger tabernacle meetings he reconsecrated his life to Christ and took a firm hold on spiritual interests and when the final summons came on Tuesday evening he was ready and waiting for the call. He was kind-hearted, generous and possessed a disposition that won him a host of friends. The hospitality of his home was known far and wide and many there are who will remember the happy occasions spent with George Grazier at his pretty home in the valley. His passing was not only a shock to his family, but his large number of friends in Tyrone and the valley and the sincere sympathy is extended Mrs. Grazier and her family. Mr. Grazier was a member of Tyrone lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, also an active member and officer of the Huntingdon County Pomona grange. Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 8 o'clock. Service will be conducted at the home by Rev. Mr. Moses, assisted by Rev. E. C. Sawyer and Rev. H. W. Bielier D. D. Interment will be made in Eastlawn cemetery. Tyrone Herald, Tyrone, Pa., Thursday, June 14, 1917 1910 Warriors Mark, Huntingdon County census - George G. Grazier, 54 Nana S. Grazier, 38 Merle L.
