  SAMUEL M. GREEN, of Saltillo died suddenly of heart disease on Thursday 
morning 26 inst., at the age of 61 years and 6 months.  Mr. Green was born in 
Cassville this county and moved to Saltillo 32 years ago where he resided till 
his death.  In 1868 he married Miss Ellen J. Heaton of Cassville who died in 
1881, 1883 he married Miss Maggie Giffin.  He is survived by his wife and her 
two children, Alma and Elsworth respectfully [sic] 10 and 7 years old, and his 
son, Charles of New Castle of his first marriage.  Mr. Green was a veteran of 
the late war, served in Company D, 192 Reg. Pa. Volunteers.
