She suffered from a complication of diseases only a few weeks. She was taken to the Blair Memorial Hospital soon after she became ill, but when treatment was found to be useless, she returned to her home, where, for three weeks she was cared for by her daughter and trained nurse. She was born at Wells Tannery, July 1, 1856. She was the daughter of David and Martha Naile. Her husband, Luden Greenland, a civil war veteran, preceded her to the grave 19 years ago. She was a resident of Saltillo for 40 years. She was a faithful worker in the Methodist church, and a teacher in Sunday School for many years. A large part of her time during the last few years had been spent in Huntingdon. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. H. J. King of Huntingdon, and a son, Bruce of McKeesport. Two sons, Howard and Eldon (Walter E. Greenland) are deceased. A brother, Ross Naile, of Duncansville, and a sister, of Three Springs, survive. The funeral services were held at her home in charge of Rev. Frownfelter. Among those who attended the funeral from a distance were: Col. and Mrs. John S. Bare, Mrs. Lillian Bernhart, Mr. and Mrs. William MacNamara, Mrs. Ida Reed and Mrs. George Whittaker, all of Huntingdon; Mrs. William Emeigh, Mr. and Mrs. John Smyers and Harry Smyers, of Mount Union; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Painter, of Pogue; Ross Naile, of Duncansville; Miss Margaret Naile, of Three Springs; Mrs. Clarence Coder, of Mapleton Depot.
