Grissinger Jerry Glenn Grissinger, 62, of RD1 Three Springs, died at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2002, in East Providence Township, Bedford County, as the result of an auto accident. Funeral services were held March 21 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, with Pastor Bonnie Ort officiating. Interment was made in Cherry Grove Cemetery, RD Three Springs. Born Nov. 25, 1939, in Springfield Township, Huntingdon County, he was the son of the late Ernest S. and Bertha M. (Cromwell) Grissinger. He is survived by four sisters and two brothers: Helen Goschke of Beaver; Wayne Grissinger of Three Springs; Doris Shore of Brunswick, Ohio; Jack Grissinger, North Ridgeville, Ohio; Virginia Hurd of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and Mary Jane Graham of Beaver. One infant sister, Dorothy, and two brothers, Eldon and Samuel, preceded him in death. Mr. Grissinger was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of the Three Springs Ambulance Company where he volunteered as a driver. He retired in 1995 from Chrysler Corp., Newark, Del., after 30 years service. He served with the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1961 spending a portion of his time in Korea. The Valley Log, Orbisonia, PA, March 27, 2002
