McCartney and Nancy Hare McCartney and was born in Henderson Township, Huntingdon County  on December 8 1867.  She was united in marriage to Samuel A. Hall on July 1, 1886 at the bride's home at Union Church,  the Rev S.W. Henry of Huntingdon performing the ceremony.  Her husband preceded her in death Sept 12,  1946.  She is survived by the following children, Mrs. Walter (Esther) Miller, J. Guy Hall, Mrs. John (Blanche) Wagner, Ira S. Hall, and Chester A. Hall all of Huntingdon.  Two sons, John A. Hall and Earl W. Hall preceded their mother to death.  She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters,  James I McCartney of McKees Rocks, William Frank McCartney of Juniata, Mrs. Annie L. Straight of Huntington, Mrs. May L Lesher of RD1 Huntingdon, and Mrs. Clara A Rutherford of Racine Wisconsin.  One brother and one sister preceded her to death, Elmer McCartney and Mrs. Etta Hall.  Internment in Union Cemetery.
