Hamer Passed Away at Her Home in That Place. Mrs. Gertrude M. Hamer, wife of Marshal S. Hamer, died at Duquesne, at 5.30 o'clock Wednesday morning, of tuberculosis, from which she had been ailing for a long time, her serious illness extending over the past four weeks. The deceased was born in Warriorsmark valley, March 5, 1872 and was therefore 31 years, 9 months and 4 days. She was the daughter of John and Eliza Eyer, both deceased. In January, 1901, she was united in marriage to Marshal S. Hamer, residing for one year near Tyrone and thereafter at Duquesne. She is survived by her husband and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Harriet Moore, of Cross Roads, Mrs. H. C. Garland and J. Blain Eyer of Pittsburg; Mrs. A. G. Fye, of Davis, Ill.; Lewis M. and Edgar C. Eyer of Warriorsmark valley; Howard B., Wilber C., and Ellis G. Eyer, of Tyrone, Harry Eyer, of Tacoma, Wash. Two sisters preceded her to the grave. The remains were brought to Tyrone Thursday and conveyed to the home of Howard B. Eyer, on Logan avenue. The funeral services were held in the United Brethren church at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. E. B. Rice, assisted by Rev. T. R. Coffman.
