	Tilitha Mary Harpster, 74, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Allen Beatty, State college, at 1:15 o’clock Tuesday morning, February 15, 
following a two weeks’ illness.
Born in Huntingdon November 2, 1862, Mrs. Harpster was a daughter of Albert 
and Mary Appleton Maffitt.  She married William H. Harpster, who died July 29, 
1927.
Surviving children are Mrs. Jared Sauers, State College; Mrs. Lauren Lightner, 
Petersburg; Mrs. Rose Rudy Mrs. Beatty and Mrs. Ralph Davis, all of State 
College.  Two sisters also survive, Mrs. S. E. Park, Watonga, Okla., and Mrs. 
Nancy Facer of State College.
The deceased was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the home and 
later at the Mooresville church.  Interment will be made in the Mooresville 
cemetery, Rev. J. F. Harkins, pastor of the Grace Lutheran church of State 
College will officiate.
