Special to the Tribune. HUNTINGDON, Pa., July 24. - The intelligence of a sad fatality has just been reported from Cassville, eighteen miles from here. Miller Hoffman, a 6-year-old son of George Harshbarger, of this town, had been making his home with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Hoffman, at Cassville. When the old couple arose yesterday morning they permitted the child to remain in bed. Subsequently the child got awake and began playing with matches he found in the room. As is frequently the case the apparel covering his little body at the time was set on fire and thus, helplessly, he was burned to a crisp. When discovered there was nothing left to tell the tale save a mass of charred bones and flesh. The remains of the little fellow were buried to-day.
