He had been in failing health for some time. Deceased was aged 71 years this month and leaves one son and one daughter. He was an industrious and respected citizen. Funeral Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, services conducted by Rev. M. L. Smith. Huntingdon Daily News, March 24, 1892 Additional Comments: Daniel Hawn was a son of Michael and Eve Speck Hawn. He married Hester (Hetty) Plowman. He and Hester are buried in the Mountainview Cemetery, Millcreek, Huntingdon Co., PA. Children were Christina, Augusta Ann, Susanna, and William Watson Hawn.
