He was born in McConnellstown and at time of death was aged about 28 years. He was a graduate of the Huntingdon High school class of 1909. He had been employed for some time in the freight office of the P.R.R. in this place, and later promoted to the position of assistant ticket agent at the Huntingdon depot, where he served for a short time prior to accepting a clerical position in the First National bank of Huntingdon.
