Hildebrand, formerly of Wood, Pa., died at the home of his brother-in-law, Charles E. Brown, at Spruce Creek, on Sunday afternoon, September 24, at 2:15 o'clock. He had been ailing for the past five years, but continued his work with the Rockhill Coal and Iron Company at Robertsdale until February of this year, when ill health compelled him to relinquish his duties. Death was caused by cancer. He was a son of George and Maude Hildebrand, of Birmingham, and at death was aged 37 years. He was united in marriage with Mirrel Bonsell, of Spruce Creek, who survives with four children, Marjorie, Harold, Ruth and Alma. Also surviving are the parents, and two brothers and two sisters, Norris Hildebrand, of Nealmont, near Tyrone; George Hlldebrand and Mrs. James Root, of Birmingham, and Mrs. Franklin Grazier, of New Jersey. Mr. Hildebrand was a veteran of the World War, and was a member of the American Legion Post at Tyrone. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon from the Brown home in Spruce Creek, conducted by Reverend E. H. McCahan, of the Arch Springs Presbyterian Church. Interment will be made in the Fairview Cemetery at Tyrone, Pa. Daily News, Huntingdon, Pa., September 9, 1933, page 8
