MRS. JOHN W. HOFFMAN

  Mrs. John W. Hoffman, wife of the principal owner of the West end planing 
mill, died at their home 1512 Washington street, on Wednesday night.  Her 
maiden name was Heffner.  She was born in Juniata township and her life-span 
was a little over fifty-five years.  Funeral services were held at home on 
Saturday afternoon, conducted by the pastor of the Reformed church, of which 
she was a member.  Interment was made in Riverview cemetery.
