Bumgardner in Orbisonia on Tuesday afternoon, February 3, 1959, at 1 o'clock. Coleen Mae Fisher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fisher of 28 1/2 West Pennsylvania Avenue, Mount Union, had been suffering from a cold for several days and the mother took her baby to the doctor on Tuesday afternoon when her condition became worse. The baby was pronounced dead by Dr. Bumgardner unpon arrival at his office. Coroner E. Blair Shore conducted the investigation and it was determined that the baby died of pneumonia. The child was born October 25, 1958, at the J.C. Blair Hospital in Huntingdon, a daughter of Arthur Fisher and Mary (Fleming) Fisher. Surviving are her parents and her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Fleming of Rockhill Furnace along with one sister, Debra Jean; and one brother, Calvin J. at home. Funeral services will be held from the Clark funeral home. The Rev. John T.T. Cummings will officiate and interment will be made in the Mount Union I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Mrs. Dorothy J. Fisher of 9 South Durham Street, Baltimore, a native of Huntingdon County, passed away on Thursday morning, October 16, 1958, in Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. She had been in failing health for three weeks and was a patient in the hospital for only one day. The deceased was born in Alexandria on May 29, 1911, a daughter of Charles E. and Ida (Crownover) Witters. She was united in marriage on May 13, 1926 to Ernest E. Fisher, the ceremony being performed at Cumberland, Md. She was of the Prostestant faith. The deceased had been a resident of Baltimore for the past 10 years. She was a practical nurse and served both at Mercy and Franklin Square Hospitals in Baltimore. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Donald (Myrtle) Fisher of Huntingdon. Her only son is deceased. Three grandchildren also survive, along with these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Percy (Hilda) Mertiff of Birmingham; Bruce Witters of Philipsburg; Jesse Witters of Mill Creek; Elmer Witters of Mount Union; and Mrs. Joseph (Dora) Bair of Huntingdon. Funeral services are under the direction of Brown's funeral home in Huntingdon. The Rev. Theodore Steckel will officiate and interment will be made in the Newburg Cemetery. Horatio C. Fisher of Entriken died this morning, Friday, August 21, 1959, at 4:10 a.m. in the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for the past eight weeks and had been confined to the hospital during that period. He was born August 26, 1876, in Entriken, a son of Mr. and Mrs. David H. Fisher. He was married to Mary Louise Crouse who preceded him in death in 1943. Surviving are the following children: Earl Fisher of Entriken; Fred O. Fisher of Mill Creek; Mrs. Howard (Blanche) Emory of Lewistown; Mrs. Jay (Reba) Mattern of Lewistown. There are 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. One son preceded him in death. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Mr. Fisher was a member of the Entriken Methodist Church. He was a farmer in Lincoln Township his entire life. Funeral services will be held from the Haverstock memorial home, in McConnellstown. The Rev. J. F. Micqey will officiate and interment will be in the Entriken Cemetery. Mrs. Minnie Mertie Fisher of Aitch R.D., Lincoln Township, died unexpectedly at her home at 1:25 a.m. this Saturday, June 9, 1956. She suffered a heart attack shortly before midnight and died almost immediately. Mrs. Fisher was 86. She was born on April 10, 1870, at Entriken, a daughter of John and Catherine (Krieger) Cunningham. She was united in marriage to Samuel H. Fisher who preceded her in death on March 30, 1937. The deceased was a member of the Methodist Church of Entriken. She had spent her entire life in Lincoln Township and had been very active, doing her own housework and gardening, until the day she died. Surviving are four children: Mrs. Elsie Metz of Lewistown: Charles Fisher and Mrs. Ada Crum, both of Aitch R.D.; Samuel H. Fisher of Aliquippa; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Herman Fouse of Aitch R.D. Funeral services will be directed by the Haverstock memorial home. The Rev. Lester E. Search will officiate and interment will be at the Entriken Cemetery. Mrs. Cora C. Fitzimons of 1829 Mifflin Street, Huntingdon, widow of Clarence J. Fitzimons, passed away at 10:19 o'clock Sunday morning, July 13, 1958, at the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health for three years and entered the hospital on November 12, 1957. She was born on December 6, 1884, in McConnellstown, a daughter of William and Melinda Houck Clark. She was twice married. Her first husbnad, Frank E. Peightal, preceded her in death and on September 21, 1920, she was united in marriage with C.J. Fitzimons. He died on February 24, 1958. During her marriage to Mr. Peightal she resided in Harrisburg, but after his death she returned to Huntingdon where she had since resided. Two daughters are deceased. She is survived by one granddaughter, Miss Cynthia Simpson of Huntingdon and a sister, Mrs. Wallace Botteicher of Altoona. Three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death. Mrs. Fitzimons was a member of the First Methodist Church in Huntingdon. She was an active member of the Woman's Society of Christian Service of that church and also the Civic club, Juniata League and the J.C. Blair Hospital Auxiliary. Funeral services will be held from Brown's funeral home. The Rev. G. Cecil Weimer will officiate and interment will be in the Riverview Mausoleum at Huntingdon. Mrs. Anna Lynn Ford of Hesston R.D., passed away in the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, June 27, 1956, at 4:30 a.m. She became ill last Sunday and was admitted to the hospital as a patient on Monday. The deceased was born at Aitch on January 2, 1888, a daughter of Frank and Mary (Beaver) Snare. She was twice married. She was united in marriage to John Lynn on January 1, 1908 and he preceded her in death in 1946. She married William Ford in 1951 and he passed away in 1955. Mrs. Ford was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church and Sunday School at Marklesburg. She was a lifelong resident of the Hesston area. She is survived by the following children: Harold Lynn, Mrs. Clair (Hazel) Hetrick and Ralph Lynn, all of Hesston R.D. One daughter preceded her in death. These step-children also survive: William Ford, Mrs. Roy (Beulah) Warnick, Mrs. Allen (Nancy) Edwards and Miss Mae Ford, all of Entriken. Four grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. James (Flora) Grove of Aitch, also survive. Funeral services will be under the direction of the Haverstock Memorial Home, McConnellstown. The Rev. Charles F. Wisler will officiate and interment will be made in the Marklesburg Reformed Church Cemetery. Mrs. Ada Mae Fouse of Marklesburg passed away on Friday, April 17, 1959, at 10:45 p.m. at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Donald States of Marklesburg, where she made her home. She had been in failing health for 10 years and had been seriously ill for one week. The deceased was born in Penn Township on August 8, 1886, a daughter of William and Margaret (Garner) Snare. She was united in marriage to J. Rupley Fouse who preceded her in death on March 17, 1928. She was an active member of the Marklesburg Evangelical and Reformed Church as long as her health permitted. She was a charter member of the Ladies Aid society. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Homer (Blanche) Lynn of McConnellstown; Kenneth R. Fouse of Marklesburg; Clyde W. Fouse of Aitch R.D.; and Mrs. Donald (Esther) States of Marklesburg. Eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. One son and one daughter preceded her in death. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. The Haverstock memorial home is in charge of arrangements. The Rev. C. Richard Masters and the Rev. A.A. Hartman will officiate. Interment will be in the Reformed Church Cemetery at Marklesburg. Clarence (Pat) Hood Fouse of Aitch R.D., died at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 1951, in the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital on Huntingdon following a lengthy illness. He had been a patient in the hospital for two weeks. He was born on July 27, 1895, in Penn Township, Huntingdon County, the son of Alfred and Margaret (Hood) Fouse. On June 29, 1915, he was united in marriage to Miss Carrie Fouse at Entriken by the Rev. A.H.K. Hoshower. The deceased was educated in the public school at Penn Township. He was a member of the Marklesburg Reformed Church. He followed the occupation of farmer and livestock dealer. Surviving are his wife and five children: Floyd Fouse of Aliquippa; Fred L. Fouse of Entriken; Carl F. Fouse of Mill Creek; Mrs. Alda Hess of Broad Top; and Mrs. Ruth Forshey of Aitch. Also surviving are four sisters: Mrs. Annie Lang of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Emma Householder of McConnellstown; Mrs. Catherine Lynn of Pitcairn; Mrs. Grace Harley of Huntingdon; one brother, John M. Fouse, address unknown; and sixteen grandchildren. Funeral services are under the direction of Bechtel's funeral services. The Rev. C.A. Huyette and the Rev. Gerald Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in the Marklesburg Reformed Church Cemetery. Mrs. Ella Marie Fouse of Allenport, Mount Union R.D., died at her late home Wednesday, July 2, 1958, at 8:50 p.m. She suffered a severe heart attack three years ago and had been in failing health since that time, and seriously ill for several weeks. She was born September 11, 1881, in Huntingdon County, the daughter of John and Emma (Ealy) Kyper. She was married to Marcus P. Fouse on June 25, 1901. The deceased is survived by her husband, a retired florist, and one son, Gaver P. Fouse of Allenport. There are two granddaughters: Mrs. Wayne Thompson of Harrisburg and Mrs. Thomas Keegan of Lebanon. There are two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters: Mrs. Cora Richardson of Huntingdon; Mrs. Grace Hogan of Shirleysburg R.D.; Mrs. Mary Rupert of Swissvale, and two brothers: Carey E. Kyper of Carmichaels and Daniel G. Kyper of Alexandria. Mr. and Mrs. Fouse moved to Allenport 36 years ago. She was a faithful member of the Allenport Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at the Clark Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank Crawford will officiate and interment will be made in the Mount Union I.O.O.F. Cemetery. S. Herman Fouse of Aitch, R.D., near Entriken, died at 1:20 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 1957, at the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health for a few years and had been a patient in the hospital for one week. He was born February 16, 1878, at Marklesburg, a son of William S. and Martha (Schell) Fouse. He was married to Harriet Cunningham on December 27, 1899. Mr. Fouse is survived by his wife and the following children: Fred Fouse, Lancaster, Ohio; Mrs. Ralph (Grace) Queener, Aliquippa; Mrs. E.S. (Martha) Cain, Oakmont; Edwin L. Fouse, Columbus, Ohio; William H. Fouse, Lancaster, Ohio; Mrs. Donald (Mary) Murdoch, Harrisburg; Samuel S. Fouse, Aliquippa; George T. Fouse, Dayton, Ohio; and Mrs. Roy (Harriet) Rodger, Lititz. There are 24 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surving is one brother, W. Lester Fouse, Entriken. The deceased was educated in the Penn Township public schools and attended Juniata College, graduating in 1895. He taught school in Lincoln Township a number of years at the turn of the century. He then became a mechanical engineer for the Jones and Laughlin Steel Company at the Aliquippa plant for 38 years until he retired in 1946. Following his retirement he returned to this area. A member of the Evangelical and Reformed Church at Entriken, Mr. Fouse was a devoted husband and father. Haverstock Memorial Home is in charge. The Rev. Mrs. Mertie Jane Frew of Miller Township, Huntingdon R.D.2, passed away early this Friday morning, June 24, 1955, at her home. She had been in failing health for the past several years. The deceased was born March 16, 1876, in Mapleton, a daughter of Joseph R. and Ellen Jane (Blair) Henderson. She was united in marriage to John A. Frew, who preceded her in death on September 5, 1945. Mrs. Frew was a member of the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church in Miller Township. She spent her entire life, after her marriage, in Miller Township. These children survive: J. Alexander Frew, at home; Mrs. Helen J. Hawn; J. Richard Frew; and Mrs. Charles Ault, all of Huntingdon R.D.2; Paul R. Frew of Macksburg, Ohio; Mrs. Henry (Mary) Hawn of Huntingdon R.D.2; James T. Frew of Mechanicsburg; and Charles E. Frew of Canton, Ohio. Two sons, George H. and Robert L. Frew preceded her in death. Thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Burkett E. Henderson of Pittsburgh; and one sister, Miss Louise Henderson of Huntingdon also survive. Four sisters and three brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at Brown's funeral home in Huntingdon. The Rev. John F. Winkelblech will officiate and interment will be made in the Donation Cemetery. Miss Anna Rachel Garner, a well known Marklesburg woman, passed away at 8:05 a.m., Thursday, October 3, 1957, at the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital. She had been ill since February and had been bedfast since June 6 of this year. Miss Garner was born October 25, 1888, at Penn Township, Huntingdon County, a daughter of W. Scott and Anna (Fouse) Garner. She is survived by two sisters: Miss Agnes Garner at home, Miss Ruth Garner of Langhorne and one brother, George Garner of Valpariso, Ohio. One sister preceded her in death. The Marklesburg woman was a member of the first graduating class in nursing at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital on February 12, 1915. She servied as a nurse at the Huntingdon Institution for a number of years and then was employed as a supervisor. Later she became a nurse for the Red Cross and also served with the U.S. Army during World War I, at Fort McHenry, Baltimore, Md. She was a member of the St. Matthews Lutheran Church at Marklesburg. Miss Garner was affiliated with the American Legion, Frank P. Hommon Post No. 24, Huntingdon, and the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 159, Huntingdon. For a period of six years, Miss Garner was employed as a nurse at the Huntingdon State Reformatory, the only woman employed at the institution in the capacity. Funeral services are under the direction of the Masood funeral service of Saxton. The Rev. Charles Wisler will officiate and interment will be made in the Old Stone Church Cemetery. Fred W. Garner of Altoona, a native of Entriken, Lincoln Township, Huntingdon County, died at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 16, 1958, at his late home. He was born November 3, 1906, at Entriken, a son of John G. and Margaret (Shontz) Garner. He was married to Flora Bell Hockenberry in 1928 at Huntingdon. Surviving is his wife and one son, Fred P. Garner of Pittfield, Mass. There are four grandchildren. Also survivng are three brothers: George T. and John W. Garner, both of Altoona, and Bursey B. Garner of Huntingdon. There are three half-sisters: Mrs. Carl Hell of Altoona, Mrs. Lester Fouse of Entriken and Mrs. Maggie Wallace of Huntingdon R.D., and one half-brother, Emory E. Brumbaugh of Altoona. The deceased was employed as a welder in the Altoona shops of the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was of the Methodist faith. Funeral services are under the direction of the Axe funeral home in Altoona. Interment will be made in the Blair Memorial Cemetery at Bellwood. Mrs. Linda Vesie Garner of 1226 Washington Street, Huntingdon, passed away this Wednesday, April 18, 1955, at 12:25 a.m. in the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, where she had been a patient since December. The deceased was born October 5, 1875, in Banian, Clearfield County, a daughter of John H. and Lydia (Mullin) Smith. She was united in marriage to Henry Garner, who preceded her in death in 1950. Mrs. Garner was a member of the Methodist Church. Two children, Mrs. Ina M. Ritchey of Huntingdon and Mrs. Ora B. Fisher of Hesston R.D., seventeen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren survive. Two sons, Guy and Lee Garner preceded her in death. She was the last survivng member of her immediate family. Funeral services will be held from the Green funeral home in Huntingdon. The Rev. Gilbert L. Bennett will officiate and interment will be made in Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon. Mrs. Margaret E. Garner of Entriken was stricken suddenly with a heart attack while visiting her cousin, Dean M. Brua of 214 Wayne Street, Hollidaysburg. She died at 4:24 a.m. Sunday, March 4, 1956. The deceased was born in Entriken on August 6, 1877, the daughter of George W. and Margaret E. (Clapper) Shontz. She was twice married, first to John D. Brumbaugh who preceded her in death, and to John G. Garner, the last Civil War veteran of Huntingdon County. He also preceded her in death. Mrs. Garner was a life-long and faithful member of the Entriken Evangelical and Reformed Church and Sunday School and the Women's Guild of the church. She was a member of the Entriken Cemetery Association and was interested and active in church and community affairs as a whole. Her entire life was spent in Entriken. Surviving are seven children: Emory E. Brumbaugh, Mrs. Carl (Grace) Hell, George T. Garner, Fred W. Garner, John W. Garner, all of Altoona, Mrs. Lester (Mae) Fouse of Entriken and Bursie V. Garner of Huntingdon. Also survivng are 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one step-daughter, Mrs. Margaret Wallace. Mrs. Garner came from a family of 14 children and only one brother, John W. Shontz of Lewistown, survives. Funeral services are under the direction of the Haverstock memorial home in McConnellstown. The Rev. Richard Masters of Bellefonte will officiate and interment will be made in the Entriken Cemetery. Miss Edna C. Geissinger of 601 Thirteenth Street, Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 1955, at 10:27 p.m. in the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon after an illness of two weeks. The deceased was born August 16, 1891, in Porter Township, Huntingdon County, a daughter of M. Michael and Mary (Summers) Geissinger. Miss Geissinger was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Rebekah Lodge and the No 2 Fire Company Auxiliary, all of Huntingdon. These brothers and sister survive: M. Clair Geissinger, Mrs. Leslie (Mae) McCall and Wayne Geissinger, all of Huntingdon. She is also survived by three nephews, one niece, three grand-nephews and one grand-niece. Services are under the direction of the Green funeral home. The Rev. David J. Heim will officiate and interment will be made in the Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon. James Milton Gill, 86, of McConnellstown died in the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 1956. He had been in failing health for the past year. The deceased was born at Penn Township on September 4, 1869, a son of Samuel W. and Annie (Stover) Gill. He was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Grove, who preceded him in death on March 29, 1952. He was a member of the Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church of McConnellstown. During his life he had been a farmer until his retirement in 1947. Surviving are the following children: Aden G. Gill, Huntingdon; John P. Gill, Lancaster; Thomas W. Gill, McConnellstown; Samuel D. and Robert W. Gill, Kansas City, Kansas; Miss Catherine Gill, Glen Olden; J. Allen Gill, Altoona R.D. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and the following brothers and sister: Westley N. Gill, Kansas City, Kansas; John J. Gill, Paradise; Andy W. Gill, McConnellstown; Mrs. Cora Schell, McConnellstown. Funeral services will be held at the Haverstock memorial home. The Rev. Marion Smith will officiate. Interment will be made at Jacob's (White) Church Cemetery. Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Gill of McConnellstown, Huntingdon R.D.1, died at 2:35 a.m. this Saturday morning, March 29, 1952, in the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 11, 1878, in Penn Township, Huntingdon County, the daughter of John P. and Catharine (Morris) Grove. In January 25, 1906, she married James M. Gill. Mrs. Gill was a member of the St. Matthews Lutheran Church at Marklesburg. Surviving are her husband and these children: Aden Gill of Huntingdon; John P. and Thomas W. Gill of Huntingdon R.D.1; Samuel and Robert Gill of Kansas City, Kansas; Miss Catherine Gill of Glenolden; and Allen Gill of Altoona. Mrs. Gill was an only child. Bechtel funeral home is in charge of the body. Interment will be made in the White Church Cemetery. Mrs. Maude E. Gill, widow of Frank S. Gill, of 1218 Moore Street, Huntingdon, died unexpectedly at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Blair Garner, 1114 Moore Street, at 11:45 a.m. Sunday, March 11, 1956. The deceased was born at Hopewell Township, Huntingdon county, on November 21, 1873, the daughter of David H. and Elizabeth (Lynn) Edwards. On December 17, 1891, she was united in marriage to Frank S. Gill who preceded her in death on March 31, 1954. Mrs. Gill was a member of the Abbey Evangelical and Reformed Church and the J.N. Fouse Bible Class. She also belonged to the Mother's Club of Huntingdon. She was a kind and loving mother and a good neighbor. She was known for her thoughtfulness in always being ready to help others in time of trouble. Surviving are three children: Cloyd D. Gill, 713 Mount Vernon Avenue, Mrs. Blair (Marguerite) Garner, 1114 Moore Street, and Mrs. E.S. (Almeda) Wilson, 1216 Moore Street. A daughter, Mary Grace, preceded her in death. Also surviving are five grandchildren and one brother, Solomon G. Edwards of Aitch R.D.1. Two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services are under the direction of the Bechtel funeral home. The Rev. Robert K. Nace and the Rev. Ray E.P. Abbott will officiate. Interment will be in the Jacob's (White) Church Cemetery on Piney Ridge. Earl Sorrick Grubb of Defiance, died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 1957, at his late home. Mr. Grubb had been in ill health for several years. He was injured in an accident in the woods several years ago and had been ill since that time. He was born December 4, 1890, at Marklesburg, a son of Sherman and Maude (Sorrick) Grubb. He was married to Lula Cypher on November 29, 1924, by the Rev. Mr. Smith at Huntingdon. Mr. Grubb is survived by his mother and his wife. One sister, Mrs. Pearl Dunmire, preceded him in death. He was educated in the Penn Township Schools and was a member of the Marklesburg Lutheran Church. Funeral services are under the direction of the Bechtel funeral service. The Rev. Charles Wisler will officiate and interment will be made in the Stone Church Cemetery at Marklesburg. Harry A. Grubb-The body of a 42 year old Swissvale man was recovered this morning, Tuesday, August 25, 1959, in the Allegheny River near Nine Mile Island in O'Hara Township. Harry A. Grubb of 7724 Juniata Street, disappeared last night while attending an outing on the river with several friends. He was first missed about 11:30 p.m. His body was recovered by the Cheswick Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Lauretta Grubb and a daughter, LaRue Grubb at home, and a sophomore at West Virginia Wesleyan. He is also survived by his father, Andrew Grubb of McConnellstown and the following brothers and sisters: Ross Grubb of State College; William G. Grubb of Irwin; Genevieve Fisher of Entriken; Muriel Lykens and Redda McNeal, both of Altoona; and Estella Grubb of McConnellstown. Funeral services will be directed by the Van Horn funeral chapel in Swissvale. Joseph N. Grubb, a highly respected resident of Penn Township, died at his home in James Creek on Monday evening, February 27, 1950, at 7:35 o'clock. The deceased was born in Penn Township on June 4, 1886, a son of Joseph and Mary (Cunningham) Grubb, both deceased. He was united in marriage to Rebecca Schell on May 26, 1916 at Cumberland Md. Mr. Grubb was a lifelong resident of Penn Township where he followed the occupation of farming. He is well known throughout the Woodcock Valley area. He was a member of the James Creek Evangelical and Reformed Church. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Joseph A. Grubb, Johah Ray Grubb and Dorothy May Grubb, all of James Creek; Mrs. Mary Helen Norris and George Alton Grubb, both of Hesston; and John Jay Grubb of Aitch. Mrs. Maudie Garner Grubb, widow of Sherman Grubb of Marklesburg, died at the home of her nephew and Niece, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Garner at Hesston at 9:25 a.m. on Thursday, December 3, 1959. She was born March 16, 1873, in Penn Township, Huntingdon County, a daughter of Samuel B. and Suzanna (Sorrick) Garner. She was married June 15, 1890, to Sherman Grubb at the Garner home in Penn Township by the Rev. Matthew Boyer. Mrs. Grubb was preceded in death by her husband, along with a son Earl and a daughter Mrs. Pearl Dunmire. She was the last surviving member of her family. The deceased was a faithful member of the St. Matthews Lutheran Church of Marklesburg and attended regularly as long as her health permitted. The Rev. Charles F. Wisler and the Rev. Mrs. Jean Gutshall, daughter of Stever Brumbaugh, passed away on July 25, 1952. Mrs. Mary H. Gutshall died at 7 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 1959, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G.W. Swope of 107 14th Avenue, Juniata, after an extended illness. She was born February 29, 1872, in Blaine, Perry County, a daughter of David P. and Ellen (White) Boyd. She was united in marriage February 16, 1893, to Edward S. Gutshall, who preceded her in death. Surviving are the following children: Clair E. Gutshall of Aitch; Mrs. Marie Butler and Mrs. Ruth Swope of Juniata; Mrs Kathryn Hefright of Pittsburgh and Joseph P. Gutshall and Edward S. Gutshall of Huntingdon; 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Florence McVey of St. Petersburg, Florida. The Rev. T. Max Hall of Mill Hall, a native of Huntingdon County, passed away at noon on Monday, September 15, 1958, in the Williamsport Hospital. Death was due to a coronary occlusion. He was 67 years of age. The Methodist minister, a former pastor of the Warriors Mark and Manor Hill charges in Huntingdon County, had been ill for two weeks prior to his death. He was admitted to the hospital on Labor Day, September 1. The deceased was born near Newburg, Huntingdon County, on July 30, 1891, a son of Reuben E.E. Hall and Viola W. (Baker) Hall. He was united in marriage on September 24, 1927, to Helen Bechtel of Blanchard. Mr. Hall lived near Entriken for a number of years and attended the county schools. Later he was graduated from Dickinson Seminary at Williamsport and Juniata College, Huntingdon. During his service in the ministry, he served at Shamokin for seven years, Harrisburg for five years, in addition to Warriors Mark and Manor Hill. He had been at Roaring Spring for six years prior to moving to Mill Hall 2 1/2 months ago. He was treasurer of the Central Pennsylvania Methodist Conference pension fund for retired pastors. He was active in the conference and held a number of other positions during his lifetime. In adition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter and two sons: Miss Carol Hall, a student at Mansfield State Teacher's College; T. Max Hall, Jr. a student at Dickinson Law School, Carlisle; and Raymond Hall of Williamsport. He also is survived by three brothers and one sister: Ted Hall of Reading; Orrin Hall of Glassport; Robert Hall of Entriken; and Mrs. Dorothy Garner of Miami, Florida. Hall, 87 of Entriken passed away Saturday, September 25, 1954, at 12:20 a.m. at her home. The deceased was born July 6, 1867, in Todd Township, a daughter of Ruben T. and Harriet (Whitney) Baker. She was united in marriage to R.E.E. Hall on July 18, 1887, at Cassville. Her husband preceded her in death. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Entriken Methodist Church and served as a trustee of the church for several years. She also served as superintendent of the Sunday School. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Woman's Society of Christian Service. These children survive: Mrs. Dorothy Garner of Cleveland; Orrin H. Hall of Glassport; the Rev. Max T. Hall of Roaring Spring; Robert Hall, at home; and Theodore G. Hall of Reading. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two sisters; Mrs. B.A. Benson of Huntingdon and Mrs. Mae McClain of Greensburg. The Rev. Infant- The infant son of Donald Lynn and Helen Louise (Hatch) Harnish of Alexandria, Star Route, died at birth at the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital on Monday, August 18, 1958. The child is survived by the parents, one brother, Donald Lynn, Jr., and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Harnish of Alexandria Star Route and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Hatch of Grass Flats, near Clearfield. Hawley of 57-W Gennessee Street, Baldwinsville, New York, formerly of Robertsdale, passed away at his home Friday morning, April 8, 1955. The deceased was born June 3, 1899, at Helveatia, Clearfield County, a son of Enoch and Ida (Clayton) Hawley. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Lavelle, formerly of Broad Top City, in 1918. Hawley was a member of the First Methodist Church of Baldwinsville. He had been employed as a coal miner on the Broad Top prior to moving to New York State, where he had been employed by the General Electric company plant at Baldwinsville for the past five years. His wife and these children survive: Mrs. Carl Kelly of New Hartford, New York; John Hawley of Shippensburg; and Willis Hawley of Arlington, Virginia. Seven grandchildren and these sisters and brother also survive: Mrs. William Burke of Wood; Mrs. John Knapp of Valencia; Mrs.Miriam Hale of McKeesport and Raymond Hawley of Wood. The Rev. Arthur Price will officiate at the services and burial will be made in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Broad Top City. Harry B. Hawn, aged about 62 years of age, of McConnellstown, was found dead in the garage building of his premises along Route 26, this Saturday forenoon, February 4, 1956, at 9:45 o'clock.. His wife who has been in ill health, went to the building and made the discovery. Death was due to strangulation, caused by hanging. He was a foreman at the J.C. Blair plant in Huntingdon but had been off work since last spring because of poor health. The body was turned over to the Haverstock Memorial Home.
