Warrior’s Mark, April 10 – Death has once more invaded our beautiful valley and claimed one of its oldest and most respected citizens. At 9 o’clock Saturday evening the spirit of Mrs. Mary Jane Hutchinson returned to the God that gave her life. She was born near Pennsylvania Furnace, Mary 22, 1833. She was the daughter of John and Mary Patterson and was the last of a large family of children. In 1852 she was married to William Hutchison, a respected citizen of Warrior’s Mark township, who died thirty two years ago. To this union was born the following children: George G., Elizabeth Wallace, wife of George L., Curry, both of Warrior’s Mark; Annie, who died at the age of 1 year; William, who was drowned at the age of 5; Lewis A., of Pittsburg, and Edwin G., of Lancaster. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn their loss a large relationship. She was the most kind hearted woman that ever lived in the valley, her hospitality being known to all, and she was loved by everyone that knew her. She was raised in the Presbyterian faith but after her marriage she became a member of the Warrior’s Mark Methodist Episcopal church, and in this faith she entered into rest. The funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock from her late home being in charge of her pastor, Rev. E. C. Keboch. Interment in the Methodist Cemetery.
