Hutchison Services To Be Friday
Funeral services for Dr. Fred R. Hutchison of 803 Washington Street, 
Huntingdon, who died Wednesday, December 20, 1967, at 9:20 a.m. in the J. C. 
Blair Memorial Hospital, will be held Friday, December 22, at 11 a.m. from 
Brown's funeral home, Huntingdon.
The Rev. Orville V. Warner, pastor of the First Methodist Church, and Dr. 
Calvert N. Ellis, president of Juniata College, will officiate. Interment will 
be made in the Presbyterian Cemetery at Alexandria.
Dr. Hutchison had been a patient of the hospital since Friday, December 15.
Born in Alexandria on November 3, 1886, he was a son of George and Mary Ellen 
(Piper) Hutchison. He was united in marriage to Minna K. Dobie on July 18, 
1916 at Thessalon, Ontario, Canada. His wife preceded him in death December 
16, 1960.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Robert P. (Nancy) Dutlinger, Camp 
Hill; Fred R. Hutchison, Jr., New Cumberland; Mrs. William S. (Jobie) Dunkle, 
Granby, Mass, and eight grandchildren. One daughter, Mary Ellen, preceded him 
in death May 31, 1919.
Also surviving are two sisters: Mrs. J. R. (Mary) Stein and Mrs. E. S. 
(Julian) Hyer, both of Orlando, Fla. and a first cousin, Mrs. Donald L. 
(Frances) Greenleaf, Huntingdon.
The deceased was a member of the First Methodist Church at Huntingdon.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 p.m. today and until the hour 
of the services on Friday. It was Dr. Hutchison's request that there be no 
viewing. Memorial contributions to the Huntingdon County Library may be made 
in his name.
