Mrs. Amanda Elizabeth Irvin died at her home at Pennsylvania Furnace, on Saturday morning, at 3 o'clock, death being caused by a complication of diseases. She was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Fox, deceased, was born at Aetna Furnace, Feb. 21, and had resided in that vicinity for a number of years. She was a life long member of the Spruce Creek Presbyterian church and is survived by her husband, W. H. Irvin, an invalid for many years, and these children: C. P. of Greenwood, G. P. of Pennsylvania Furnace, Mrs. J. M. Wilson, W. W. and Mrs. H. B. Brennen, of this city, and Mrs. W. H. Brown of Mount Union. She is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Samuel Aurandt, Mrs. James Aurandt of Altoona and Mrs. Dean and Henry and Frank Fox of Williamsburg. The funeral will be held at her late residence this morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in the Presbyterian cemetery at Graysville. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, April 23, 1918
