On Tuesday morning, the 23d inst., Mrs. Elizabeth Irvin, mother of Sheriff Irvin, of Huntingdon, died in the 72d year of her age. Deceased was the relict of John Irvin, who died about fifteen years ago. She was the mother of fifteen children, eleven sons and four daughters. Seven sons were in the army. One son was killed instantly, in battle, and six others were wounded, two of whom died from their wounds.
