LORAIN ISENBERG Died at his home in Shrever, O. Mr. R. A. Isenberg of this city, in response to a letter written by him to Dr. Isenberg, in which he asked various questions with relation to suggestions concerning the coming annual reunion of the Isenberg family, received instead of a letter a copy of the Shreve News, in which the death of the doctor was announced. Dr. Isenberg was the son of Philip Isenberg, who died in Maryland, but whose widow, with several of her brothers-in-law, came to Alexandria, Huntingdon county, about the year 1804. Later Philip went to Ohio, where Lorain was born in 1852, in Knox county. Dr. Lorain Isenberg at the time of his death, which occurred at Jacksonville, Fla., was aged 54 years and 10 months. He married at Shreve and three years ago his wife died, leaving him one daughter, two other children having died in infancy. He studied medicine and for twenty-five years practised in Shreve, being very successful. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity and in politics was a Republican.
