He was born October 24, 1905 in Jersey City, NJ, the son of Frank and Joanna (Rofer) Jaeger. On November 27, 1930, he married E. Florence Powelson in Elizabeth, NJ who preceded him in death. He is survived by one daughter Joan Elizabeth Hassler and her husband Clarance of Warriors Mark, three granddaughters and 12 great- grandchildren. He graduated from Eastside High School in Newark, NJ and received his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Cooper Union, NY. He retired from Zwigard Construction Co. in 1967 as supervisor and vice president. He worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. He served in the eastern aircraft division of General Motors during World War II. Mr. Jaeger was a member of the First English Lutheran Church in Tyrone. He was a member of the Revelleers Theatre Group in Union, NJ. He enjoyed growing Bonsai and gardening. A funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Teri Anne Talbot-Moses officiating. Interment will be at Spring Mount Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Bruce Cox Funeral Home. Tyrone Daily Herald, April 24, 2003
