James, 70, formerly of Rockhill Furnace, and more recently of Tyrone, died Monday evening, September 26, 2005 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield. Born October 20, 1934 at Mt. Union, she was the daughter of the late William S. and Nellie E. (McMullen) Horne. She was married to Donald G. Wible on November 26, 1960. Mr. Wible preceded in death May 6, 1976. Surviving are children: Patricia D. Riley, RD1 Altoona and Brian L. Wible, Tyrone; four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; siblings: Eugene S. Horne of Mill Creek, Herbert L. Horne of Huntingdon, Barbara M. Vaughn of York and Marlin E. Horne of Mill Creek. Two brothers, William and Kenneth and four sisters, Violet Morton, Kathleen Black, Rhoda Baldwin and Dorothy Houser preceded in death. Mrs. James had attended the Northwood Baptist Church, Tyrone. She was employed by Hoss's Steak and Sea House, Altoona. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2005 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia. Interment will be made at Cherry Grove Cemetery, RD, Three Springs. Friends may call at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service on Friday.
