We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ Mrs. Susan Jamison of Shirleysburg, a former resident of Mapleton passed away Sunday, May 16, 1954, at 9 p.m. at Shirleysburg. At the time of her death, she was 84 years of age. Mrs. Jamison was born October 21, 1869 in Springfield Township, Huntingdon County, a daughter of John and Jane (Ramsey) Cutshall. She was untied in marriage to Alfred Jamison who preceded her in death December 21, 1927. While a resident of Mapleton, she attended the EUB Church there. The deceased is survived by these daughters: Mrs. Jay (Margaret) Banks of Huntingdon, Mrs. Chalmer (Violet) Stubbs of Williamsburg, and Mrs. Frank (Myrtle) Foster of Mapleton. One son preceded her in death. One sister, Mrs. Exie Long of Saltillo, one brother, Nayum Cutshall of Saltillo, twenty grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 19 at 1:15 p.m. in the EUB Church at Mapleton. The Rev. Charles F. Miller, pastor of the church will officiate and burial will be made in the IOOF cemetery at Mapleton. Friends may call at the Green funeral home in Huntingdon from noon on Tuesday until 11 a.m. on Wednesday until the hour of services.
