Johnson died in West township on Saturday, of pneumonia. He was the son of Robert C. and Mary Johnson, and was born on Shaver's Creek and lived there all his life. He was a highly respected young man and a member of the M. E. church. At death he was aged 24 years and 22 days. He had been employed on the State road and lived with his parents at home. He is survived by his parents, one brother and one sister: Miss Maude, at home, and Earl, in Canada. The funeral was held on Tuesday morning, services being conducted by Rev. B. F. Hilbish, with interment in the Mooresville cemetery. The Huntingdon Globe, Thursday, October 10, 1918
