Robert Emory Johnston died at his home at Neffs Mills on Thursday afternoon at 1.30 o'clock after a six weeks' illness with heart trouble during which time he was confined to his bed. He was born on July 10, 1856. He followed the occupation of farmer all his life. He is survived by his wife and one son, William, at home, and by three sisters: Mrs. Anna Meminger, of Roseburg, Ore.; Mrs. J. H. Oaks and Mrs. Margaret Myton, of Neffs Mills. Mr. Johnstown [sic] was a member of the Presbyterian church. Funeral services were held at his late home on Sunday forenoon at 10.30, in charge of Rev. J. L. Lyle and Rev. B. F. Hilbish.
