Donald E. Jones

  Donald E. Jones, 70, of Gill Lane, Neelyton, died Tuesday, July 11 at 
his home in Dublin Township, Huntingdon County as a result of injuries 
sustained in a tractor accident.
  Funeral services were held on Friday, July 14 at the Martin R. Brown 
Funeral Home, Orbisonia, with Rev. Marlin "Butch" Neil officiating. 
Interment was made in Neelyton-Pine Grove Cemetery, Neelyton.
  He was born April 22, 1936 in Dublin Township. He was the son of the 
late Raymond and Hazel (Appleby) Jones. He was married to Patricia A. 
Miller on May 17, 1957 in Hagerstown, MD. Mrs. Jones preceded Mr. Jones 
in death on July 20, 2000.
  Mr. Jones is survived by one daughter and three sons: Penny Parsons 
of Blairs Mills, Larry Jones of Neelyton, Ronald Jones of Mount Union 
and Daniel Jones of Neelyton.
  There are also seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren 
surviving.
  Also the surviving are five brothers and two sisters: Arthur Jones of 
Chambersburg; Vivian Moore of Lewistown, Glenn Jones of Neelyton, Carl 
Jones of Maryland, Wendell Jones of Maryland, Bernice Peck of 
McVeytown, and Ivan Ehman of Upper Strasburg.
  One sister, Maxine O'Donnell, preceded him in death.
  Mr. Jones was retired from S and N Communications in Shippensburg. 
Prior to that, he worked for Henkels and McCoy, in York.
  He was a member of the Moose Lodge #842 in Chambersburg.
  Mr. Jones attended St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Shade Gap.
