FORMER NOSSVILLE STORE OWNER, SCHOOL COOK

  E. Kathleen Jones, 74, of Blairs Mills, R.R. 1, died Monday evening, April 11, 
1994, in the Chambersburg Hospital.
  She was born Aug. 14, 1918, at Blairs Mills, a daughter of the late William 
Ira and Erma (Love) Hampton.  She was first married to Lauren E. Flood who 
preceded her in death in 1962.  Her second husband, Donald C. Jones, survives.
  Mrs. Jones is also survived by a son, Eugene L. Flood of Blairs Mills, and a 
daughter Mrs. Elma S. Yohn of Greencastle.  There are five grandchildren, three 
great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
  Three brothers and a sister survive: Arthur Hampton of Pittsburgh, William 
Hampton of Castanea, Homer Hampton of Blairs Mills and Lenora Flood of Blairs 
Mills, R.R. 1.
  Mrs. Jones was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church at Blairs Mills, 
R.R.1, and the ladies aid society of the church.  She was also a member of the 
Shade Gap Senior Citizens.
  Along with her husband, Donald, Mrs. Jones owned and operated a general store 
in Nossville for a number of years.  She had also been employed as a cook at the 
Letterkenny cafeteria and at the Shade Gap Elementary School cafeteria.
  Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, from the John L. 
Agett Funeral Home, Dry Run.  Interment will be made in the Salem Cemetery, 
Blairs Mills, R.R. 1.
  Visitors may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Additional Comments:
Husband Lauren Ellsworth Flood was a son of Charles Theodore & Maude Elmina
(Kent) Flood.
