Mrs. Kennedy Dies.

  Mrs. Susan Kennedy, a sister of William Hicks, of West Fifteenth 
street, and grandmother of William A. Kennedy of Twelfth street, died 
at 10.10 o'clock Sunday morning at her home in Huntingdon.  Death was 
the culmination of a general decline in health due to advanced age, she 
having reached her eighty-third year.  She had been bedfast for the 
past three months.  Her husband, Joshua Kennedy, preceded her to the 
grave 37 years ago, having succumbed to the effects of an old wound 
received during the Civil war.
