John Kinch, justice of the peace, died at his home at Franklinville at 4 o'clock Tuesday morning, after an illness of two weeks, of pneumonia. He was aged 62 years and 11 months. Mr. Kinch had resided in Franklinville for about thirty-five years. By trade he was a blacksmith and for forty-five years he had been engaged at that occupation. He leaves a wide circle of relates and friends by whom he was held in the highest esteem. A member of the Lutheran church for over thirty-five years, he was a faithful Christian and passed away in the implicit hope of the reward of the righteous. Deceased was married to Miss Angelina Ginter by whom he is survived, with the following children: Mrs. M. K. Houser, of Altoona; Mrs. F. Geist, of Pennsylvania Furnace; Mrs. W. H. Brown, Jennie, Ellen and David C., of Franklinville; and Mrs. W. F. Partchey, of Graysville. Four brothers and three sisters also survive him: Ex-Mayor David Kinch, ex-Chief of Police Daniel Kinch and B. F. Kinch, of Altoona; Henry Kinch, of Warriorsmark; Mrs. Newton Zentmyer, of Franklinville; Mrs. A. H. Waring, of Philipsburg; and Mrs. Edmund Keatley, of Huntingdon Furnace. The funeral will take place at 11 o'clock Thursday morning. Interment in the Lutheran cemetery at Seven Stars. Tyrone Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 4, 1894
