Klobetanz, 30, of Shade Gap, was pronounced dead at 12:53 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at Altoona Hospital. Death was due to injuries sustained in an auto accident late Sunday evening in Cromwell Township, Huntingdon County. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, with Pastor Darrell Potteiger officiating. Interment will be made at Fair Ridge Cemetery, RD Shade Gap. Friends may call at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 9-11 a.m. Friday. He was born April 15, 1971, at McConnellsburg. He is survived by his father, Joseph Snyder, and his mother and step-father, Donald and Margaret (Klobetanz) Snyder of Neelyton. He was married to the former Sara J. Traxler on March 13, 1996, in West Virginia. Mrs. Klobetanz survives at their home. Also surviving are his maternal grandfather, Merle H. Klobetanz of McConnellsburg; maternal step-grandmother, Nelda Snyder of Shade Gap; and three step-children, Helen Tart of Neelyton, Amber Keefer and Luke Traxler, both of Shade Gap. He is also survived by one sister, Faith Ann Lewis of Rawlins, Wyo. and one brother, James McMullen, Shade Gap, and the following step- sisters: Rosemary Smith and Debra McMullen, both of Blairs Mills, Shawnie Snyder of Shade Gap and Krista Zerbe of Huntingdon. Mr. Klobetanz attended the Mowersville Brethren in Christ Church in Newburg, was a member of Madden-Wennick Post 518, American Legion, Rockhill Furnace, and the Greencastle V.F.W. He was employed by Sollenberger Silos, Chambersburg. He was a veteran of the Persian Gulf War, serving with the U. S. Army. The Valley Log, Orbisonia, Pa., February 20, 2002
