LAIRD, A resident of Alexandria, Huntingdon county, died at the Blair county home some time last night. Her lifeless body was found this morning when attendants went to waken her. She was aged 78 years, 3 months and 7 days and death was presumably due to advanced age. She was the daughter of William Laird who for many years had been a prominent undertaker of Alexandria. She was a member of the Presbyterian church at Alexandria and the body will be interred in the Presbyterian cemetery at that place at a time to be announced later. Laird of Alexandria, Pa., who was found dead in bed at the county home yesterday morning, will be held in the Presbyterian church at Alexandria, Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
