Laird died at her home, 716 Portland avenue, on Thursday night at 9 o'clock after three weeks illness with typhoid fever. She was a daughter of Asbury Ewing and Mrs. Rebecca Ewing, of Barree, and was aged twenty years, three months and thirteen days. She was united in marriage to Frank W. Laird on July 17, 1917, and since that time has resided in Huntingdon. She is survived by her husband and baby daughter Harriet, also by her parents and these brothers and sisters: Harry and Bessie Ewing, of Martinsburg, W.Va., Ray, Ralph and Tillie, at home. Funeral services were held at the residence on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. A. F. Richardson, of Petersburg, with interment in Riverview cemetery.
