Mildred I. Lamberson

  Mildred I. "Millie" Lamberson, 83, formerly of Huntingdon, and most 
recently of Woodland Retirement Center, Orbisonia, died at 6:45 p.m. on 
Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, at the center. She died following a brief 
illness.
  Funeral services were held on Thursday, Dec. 7, at the Robert D. 
Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union with Pastor James S. Thomas 
officiating. Internment was at the IOOF Cemetery, Mapleton.
  Born on Oct. 28, 1918, in Clearfield, she was the daughter of 
Clarence and Grace (Antes) Greene.
  She was united in marriage to Virl W. Lamberson Sr. who preceded her 
in death Oct. 10, 1968. 
  Surviving are two children: Carol L. Lamberson and Virl W. "Junior" 
Lamberson Jr., both of Huntingdon.
  Two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two great-great 
grandchildren also survive.
  A brother and a sister also survive: Leslie Greene of Clearfield and 
Mary Shiveley of Green River, Wyo.
  She was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Wilkins.
  She was of the Protestant faith and was a homemaker.
