Mrs. Elizabeth Conrad LaPorte passed away at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank K. Mattern at Warriorsmark on Thursday evening at 5 o'clock, death being due to diseases incident to old age. Elizabeth Conrad LaPorte was a daughter of Daniel and Mary Ann Conrad and was born at Franklinville, Pa., August 26, 1844. On January 11, 1872, she was united in marriage with James Hunter LaPorte who preceded her to the grave several years ago. Surviving to mourn this loving mother's death are the following children: Elmer G. LaPorte, of Patton; Mrs. Frank K. Matter, of Warriorsmark; James C. LaPorte, of Trenton, N.J., and Mrs. Arthur O. Hutchison, of Tyrone. Mrs. LaPorte possessed a kind and loving disposition and her many friends in this community will be grieved to learn of her demise. Funeral services will be held at the home of Frank K. Mattern, Warriorsmark, on Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Interment in Graysville cemetery.
