Long of Mount Union, died at the home of his brother George A. Long, 410 Eighth avenue, Altoona, of typhoid pneumonia. He was a lumberman employed in the region about Grafton, Pa., and was taken sick there. He was taken to Altoona Friday night and Saturday morning took a turn for the worse and sank rapidly until he passed away. Deceased was born in Hill Valley, Huntingdon County, and was aged 34 years. He was unmarried and is survived y his father, William Long, of Mount Union; and two brothers and three sisters all residing in Altoona. His remains were brought to his home in this place Saturday evening on Mail Express and the funeral services conducted by Rev. King in the Methodist Church yesterday afternoon.
